Following on from ‘The education of Lilanoir Rue’ I eagerly picked up this second prequel short and was not disappointed. Set in the same intriguing post apocalyptic world and written in the same smooth and personal style, I was straight back into the story as Lilanoir faces the challenges of the big city as well as the ghosts from her past.

One step deeper into the plot and I’m left ever more eager to dive into the full length novel. Morgan Jane Mitchell should change the description of the prequels from shorts to teasers because that is what’s she doing, teasing us. Hurry up and release that novel! I can’t wait to read more about Lilanoir Rue and her vamped, post apocalyptic world.
